Kim is a graduate of Grant MacEwan in Edmonton Alberta, where she  attained her 2200 hour Massage Therapy Diploma.

Through high school and college Kim participated in various sports. As an athlete she developed a keen interest in the function and performance of the human body. She found that when she was injured she could seek out Massage/Physical/Athletic Therapy for her injuries and was always so intrigued by how the body worked and how it could heal. Combined with her compassionate nature and strong desire for helping others, Kim was lead to a career in Massage Therapy. This journey in the massage world began when she signed up for the Massage Therapy Program in 1995. After completing the  program in 1997, she went on to have an array of experiences working in both clinical settings with Chiropractors in Vegreville and Red Deer Alberta also in spa settings on board Cruise Ships, 5 star Resorts in the Turks and Caicos and at Mountain Waters Spa in  Nelson, BC. She believes that combining all these experiences  have lead to become the therapist she is today.

Kim  provides  techniques  that  include:

  • Myofascial Release (John Barnes Method)

  • Neuromuscular/Trigger Point

  • Sports Massage

  • Pregnancy Massage

  • Hot Stone Massage

  • General Soft Tissue Mobilization Techniques

  • Facilitated Stretching

  • Myofascial Stretching/Yoga

Kim's passion is Myofascial Release (John Barnes approach), she believes it is not meant to replace these other important techniques or other approaches a client is currently utilizing, but acts as an important  expanded dimension for increasing effectiveness and permanency of results in relieving pain and restoring ease in motion and function of the client’s body, ultimately expanding quality of life. As no two bodies are the same she approaches each person as individual. Evaluating and assessing each client before a session gives her a picture of your current state of physical and emotional health. Any past or present injury and condition will affect what type of treatment most relevant at  the time. She works together with you, as a team to create the best possible treatment at that moment in time.

Kim's passion for her work and natural ability to assess and sense every individuals needs each time they see her, fast track her clients on their way to recovery and wellness. Her extensive education coupled with her experience bring a wholistic approach to enable her clients to heal, Release and Restore!
