The human body is a powerful entity and life’s
events can take a toll on it. I believe bringing awareness to the physical body
and its system is essential to its function. I combine a variety of
techniques into every session to meet the needs of my client and make no two
sessions alike.
I
arrived in Boulder, CO in January of 2007 to pursue an education in massage at
the Boulder College of Massage Therapy, and little did I know what I was in
store for. After an intense year of receiving more than 1000 hours of hands on
training, I enrolled in the Advanced Occupational Studies (AOS) degree program,
and received further training and education in medical, orthopedic and sports
massage. During that time I started working for Occupational Health and Therapy
at Boulder Community Hospital, where I was able to learn my passion for
neuromuscular work. After graduating from the AOS program I began a
mentorship with Doug Jones who continues to guide me in the power of the
healing body.
Currently
I have been working at the Boulder Center for Sports Medicine since January of
2011, as well as having a private practice that travels to your home.
