The Alexander Technique for Massage

"The Alexander Technique is a method that works to change (movement) habits in our everyday activities. It is a simple and practical method for improving ease and freedom of movement, balance, support and coordination. The technique teaches the use of the appropriate amount of effort for a particular activity, giving you more energy for all your activities. It is not a series of treatments or exercises, but rather a reeducation of the mind and body. The Alexander Technique is a method which helps a person discover a new balance in the body by releasing unnecessary tension. It can be applied to sitting, lying down, standing, walking, lifting, and other daily activities..."

My first time with Khristine. She gave me a deep body massage and focused on hips at my request. I was very happy with her service and booked my next massage with her. It was a relaxing, and reduced the stress I was feeling before the massage.

Khristy is the best massage therapist that I have ever had. She performs a truly wonderful massage that makes me feel like I have a new body for days.

Khristine definitely has a lot of skill in this field. She was able to pay attention to all the areas of pain that I had without overdoing any one area. She used hot towels to relax the area first and that was calming. She put together the right mixture of pressure and frequency to relax all the areas of tension. Oftentimes after a massage I walk away sore because they used too much pressure or disappointed because they didn't do enough to relax the trigger-points. This massage was very relaxing while being therapeutic.I will definitely be making another appointment.

I think Khristine did an awesome job. I liked the warm towels to loosen my back at the beginning of the massage. The re-positioning of my arms and legs while massaging the joint areas was very unique and I think very effective.

As always an awesome experience. Really worked on muscle issues in my lower back and shoulder. For sure the 1st time in years my shoulder had relief from chronic pain due to a shoulder injury & surgery.
