My interest in massage began with my own search for relief from stress.  The more I learned, the more I realized physical pains and illnesses can be a direct result of mental and emotional stress.  The philosophy for my practice is based on this concept. My approach to finding relief is to, first and foremost, relax my client.  Without addressing the mental and emotional stress, our bodies are unlikely to release that chronically tight spot.  I also prefer to work tension out without creating more pain.  I specialize in warming up muscles with gentle but firm pressure.  Deep pressure is not a problem for me if a client prefers it, however, I have found better results with a different approach.  Ultimately, it is my goal to send my clients on their way better than that in which they came.  Please don't hesitate to let me know exactly what you prefer for your massage session, I am happy to do my best.
