Deep Tissue

Deep tissue therapy is massage that is applied to the deeper layers of muscle tissue in the body. It is a highly effective method for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries. The goal of deep tissue bodywork is to lengthen the restricted muscles that have to do with posture, balance and alignment.

Sports Massage

A treatment that is designed to enhance athletic performance and recovery. There are two main types of sports-related injury massages: Restorative - done during training, this is used to allow athletes to train harder while avoiding injury. Rehabilitative - used to accelerate healing and reduce pain from strains, pulls and other muscular injuries. The intent is to calm the nervous system, ultimately speeding and improving the quality of healing.
