I’ve become a certified pregnancy massage therapist and infant massage instructor as well as a birth doula from DONA International. I taught Birthing From Within childbirth education classes and studied midwifery at The Farm Midwifery Center.

I love being apart of the heroic journey women take during this time in their life! For a lot of women, it is the first time they come face to face with trusting their bodies and themselves to carry a child, give birth, and learn how to be mothers. As a mother of two children, I have walked my own path and I feel so honored to go with other women and their families on their own personal journey. Through education, encouragement, and loving kindness, my hope is to help women believe in their amazing powerful bodies.

This was my first experience with Womankind Massage and I was not disappointed. I have been getting therapeutic massage for decades, but being relatively new to the area needed to find someone who was skilled and passionate about body work. She came highly recommended to me and I have to agree. Her professionalism, knowledge, skill set etc was way above the norm. Kari has a special gift. Her touch is lighter than most, but her work is incredibly effective. I've seen her twice now and have found her work to be very effective. Each time, I woke up the next morning with zero aches and pains when my norm is need to stretch before I can walk. Not only is she skilled in massage and lymphatic drainage, she has the ability to listen and truly understand. She understood where I was coming from and what I needed.
