Hi! I’m Elizabeth Gallien, Licensed Massage Therapist, and
founder of Hampstead Pain Relief.
My mission is straight-forwarded: RELIEF FOR ADULTS WITH
NECK, SHOULDERS, AND BACK PAIN.
My journey into massage began at
an early age. I remember when I was 7 hearing
my mom pace back and forward downstairs, because her back hurt so badly that
she could not sleep. I would stand on a
step; she would lend on a chair, and I’d massage her back until she felt better
and could fall asleep. I also remember massaging
my grandparents’ backs and they would often say I had magic hands. It was great to be able to help my family
feel better!
During my senior year at Nashua
High School, I studied in their Licensed Nursing Program and earned my LNA. During college I worked as LNA in a care
facility, and in the evenings, I would massage my residents’ legs in lotion. This was special for me, to see their relaxed faces
and know how much I helped them.
I went to New Hampshire Community
Technical College and majored in Nursing and Massage Therapy. I continued in Nursing until last year when I
realized I needed to focus on bringing healing touch more into healthcare.
I worked in various settings including
a spa, chiropractic office, gym, and a wholistic center for about 10 years. I then recently founded Hampstead Pain Relief
in 2021 because of the freedom and power I have to make a strong connection between
myself and the client so they can have the best experience possible.
