My original Major in college was Pre-Physical Therapy, which massage therapy training is a requirement, so I enrolled in an accredited school in Napa and received my first 172hours certification. So, after taking most of the prerequisite college courses before moving on to Grad School I interviewed with a PT office and realized that as much as I value Physical Therapy as a profession I realized I prefer a more proactive use of the health science knowledge. Massage Therapy is of course used in rehabilitation in physical therapy but it's function can be far more effective with preventing injury and improving overall health. I've also found the use of cupping and electrical stimulation devices to be very effective in releasing some very deeply locked muscle structures and facia. I have a business license in Napa county and collaborate with a colleague in SanBernardino. I love learning so I spend a lot of time looking things up and discovering new ideas and possibilities. I prefer to look for ways to solve problems, So to me anything and everything I see stimulates my imagination and I just ask how can this be used to make things better, including myself.
