Pain and dysfunction are not inevitable. Massage for Animals.

I started my career in canine massage when my puppy Fergus broke his femur. I knew he would be prone to arthritis in his old age and wanted to find a way to help him. I was certified by Bancroft school of massage in 2008 and later was certified in equine massage and Reiki Level 2, and studied Myofascial Release for animals. Fergus is 13 now and still running around like crazy.

I use this combination of skills to help dogs, cats, and horses to overcome challenges to movement and function. My clients include performance animals who want to reach their peak, elderly animals who want to retain ease of movement and avoid pain, injured animals and those who have behavioral challenges. I work with your veterinarian.

My service area is NE Connecticut, Central and Metrowest Massachusetts, and NW Rhode Island.

Lisa was great with Ginger who was a little apprehensive at first. Lisa gained Ginger's trust through her professionalism and her calm demeanor. We look forward to our next appointment.

Lisa was so in tune with what Bella enjoyed and what she did not enjoy. She was able to distract her with treats so that she could massage the areas that needed it the most. When Bella came in for her massage, she could not put any weight on one of her legs due to advanced arthritis. At the end of the first massage, she was already able to put weight on all of her legs. Bella has now had 3 massages and she is walking much better and wants to play again. What a difference Lisa has made in Bella's life and mine. I am going to continue with the massages because Bella's quality of life is so much better now that the pain has lessened. She taught me how to do gentle massage on Bella to do between her professional massages and I am comfortable doing that now and not afraid of hurting her. Lisa is a great find!!

Unlike other massage therapy treatments, which our 13 year old lab has had, yesterday's session was all inclusive. Besides thoroughly and methodically assessing Charlie's body and mobility issues, Lisa was very mindful of Charlie's other health problems and tailored the session to meet his overall needs. Lisa's ability to see the bigger picture is a credit to her profession. All in all, we were very impressed with the treatment, and look forward to seeing a positive difference in Charlie's movement going forward.

I am so happy/pleased after just one session with Lisa.. Pebs has been moving more freely and with less fear! I expect after a couple of more sessions, my sweetie will be back to normal!

She was very kind and gentle with my elderly dog. She made sure he was comfortable. I could tell by how he walked and carried himself that his joints felt better after she was done.
