Pain and dysfunction are not inevitable. Massage for Animals.

I started my career in canine massage when my puppy Fergus broke his femur. I knew he would be prone to arthritis in his old age and wanted to find a way to help him. I was certified by Bancroft school of massage in 2008 and later was certified in equine massage and Reiki Level 2, and studied Myofascial Release for animals. Fergus is 13 now and still running around like crazy.

I use this combination of skills to help dogs, cats, and horses to overcome challenges to movement and function. My clients include performance animals who want to reach their peak, elderly animals who want to retain ease of movement and avoid pain, injured animals and those who have behavioral challenges. I work with your veterinarian.

My service area is NE Connecticut, Central and Metrowest Massachusetts, and NW Rhode Island.

REVIEWS for my Bodywork services

Lisa is amazing! She's so respectful of my dog and how he's doing, so she's able to give him a great massage. He even lets her massage places that are bothering him, which helps him loosen up and feel much better.

Finny was uncomfortable on the blow-up mattress. Everything else was great!

Lisa is very patient and calm with my high-drive, young dog. I rely on her to alert me to and massage out any potential muscular concerns before they turn into a problem that could affect our ability to train and compete in ringsport. He really likes his massage time -- for him to lie still for more than 10 seconds is nothing short of amazing.

During the visits, Lisa clearly explains what Dustin's issues that day and what she most needs to work on to help him. She gives us advice on what we can do when we are all home. We really appreciate that she sends an e-mail to review Dustin's session . This email also goes out his other therapists. Dustin definitely shows an improvement after his visits. Dustin rates his Auntie LIsa 5 Licks

My first impression when entering the therapy room was calm and inviting. Just by watching Brandi walk Lisa was able to identify some of the issues right away. She is very knowledgable, caring and professional. Her skill level is amazing, she knows exactly what to do and massaged Brandi with precision. Lisa explained what she was doing as she moved along and helped me understand what issues Brandi was having. After the session, Lisa compiled her notes explaining what she found and where the issues were with a dog diagram. The notes were so helpful for me to understand what is going on with my dog. I personally know the benefits of massage on the human body and am sure with more visits with Lisa, Brandi will benefit greatly.

Lisa is great with my Holly Collie. She is gentile, and patient when Holly is restless. Lisa is very experienced and knowledgeable about massage and Reiki techniques and can easily pinpoint areas that are tight or need attention. Lisa's background as a dog trainer gives her the ability to quickly understand a dogs body language and how to minimize any stress. She keeps very detailed and easy to understand records for each session.
