About me

I began the process of learning CranioSacral Therapy (CST) 15 years ago and have recently begun the transition into doing it full time after 24 years as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) in emergency medicine, family practice, and specialty clinics. I am grateful for my work in medicine, as it has given me a wide variety of experiences and a unique perspective and skillset in my Craniosacral therapy practice. My broad knowledge of anatomy and physiology plus keen palpation and observation skills give me a confident understanding of the structures under my hands as I work. I have a clear understanding of many medical conditions, diseases, and associated traditional and non-traditional treatments. Through the years, my biggest lesson is that the mind and body are one. Through the mind-body connection, deep healing can occur. Everyone deserves the time to be heard so they can be understood as a whole person. I have found through this work that when intention is paired with love, compassion and the incredible power of the human touch, deep healing comes naturally.

What is Craniosacral therapy?

Craniosacral therapy (CST) is a light-touch, fully-clothed treatment that works with the central nervous system, the body’s tissues, organs, and fascia (connective tissue that forms a sophisticated, dynamic, communication highway throughout our body). It focuses on the root cause of imbalances and disorders to help create a path for deep healing. CST dives right into the union of mind and body to help jump start a natural progression of your body’s self-correcting capabilities.

Philosophy: Discovery, Recovery & Renewal

My philosophy is that we have within us a God-given ability to heal wounds of all kinds (physical, emotional, psychological).

Your body is your home here on Earth. I want to help you learn about your unique bodily design, become aware of your you-ness, fully understand its amazing internal workings, and learn to listen to its voice. Sometimes we fear the answers that our body wants to give us when we feel an ache or pain. Craniosacral therapy is a wonderful, gentle way to bridge that gap from fear to freedom. It can help you really love every part of you and understand that knowing more does not have to be scary…it can be Discovery.

Saying yes to discovery opens the door to the undulating, vibrant process of healing that is fully unique to you! There is no other journey that is the same as yours--nor could there be, for there is only one you. So please skip the comparisons and critical thinking and try relaxing into the process of letting your body show your mind the path of Recovery.

Our mind-body connection is the profound spot where we can dive deep into the whole of where we once were, where we currently are, and where we want to be. Understanding and embracing this link is the lovely process of Renewal.

Treatment

I strive to provide my clients with a warm, comfortable, safe environment to foster healing at their own pace. I treat a wide variety of conditions including headaches, pain syndromes, depression, anxiety, PTSD, intestinal ailments, post concussive syndrome, low back, neck or joint pain, fatigue, colic and many more. I would like to invite you to experience this gentle hands-on therapy and be wholly yourself with me. I would be honored to travel with you on this journey of Discovery, Recovery and Renewal.

Come prepared to relax, receive, and restore.
