I came to massage, and energy healing, after I experienced a rollover car accident many years ago. These therapies helped me so much, that I felt I could learn the techniques in order to help others. Having personal experience with physical pain and emotional trauma has given me a tremendous sense of empathy and compassion for others. I blend over a decade of experience as a bodyworker and lightworker to help my clients achieve greater balance in mind, body and spirit. I am Reiki II certified; I am also trained in craniosacral technique, reflexology, yoga, and the use of essential oils. I received my therapeutic bodyworker certificate from the Naturopathic Institute of Therapies and Education. Additionally, I hold a master's degree in counseling from Central Michigan University, and have taught yoga for about 8 years. I combine my life experiences and skills to provide a truly holistic experience. My specialties include helping to release emotions from tissues of the body, managing pain, mindfulness, and stress reduction. I'm available for individual sessions in Mount Pleasant, Michigan, and am also available for classes and talks regionally.
