Welcome to Zen Massage and Bodywork. My name is Nicole Wimbish, a licensed massage and bodywork therapist here in the small home town of Mount Airy, North Carolina. My mission is to knead love and light back into the world, one massage at a time. After graduating high school, I went to Surry Community College and got an Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education. The plan was to eventually work with children either in daycare or a hospital, later, I decided neither was for me. I currently and will continue to work as an Acupuncturist Assistant at Mount Airy Community Acupuncture. After working here for 3 years, I started to think about alternative medicine as a career. Longing to find a holistic way to carry on with my passion for working with children, I started thinking about massage. I was skeptical about it at first, but my desire to help others kept me going. Then, in August of 2017 I attended massage school at Center for Massage and Natural Health in Asheville, NC for 6-months. There I gained the upmost love and respect for the massage and bodywork therapy field and all who are in it. Now, I welcome you on to my journey of giving back to the world.
