After attending massage school in New Hampshire beginning in 2014, she first interned with Dartmouth College as a therapist in the athletics program using massage on the athletes. After finishing school, she returned to the Burke / Catawba area where she began her practice working as a massage therapist in several venues. She is trained in traditional Swedish massage, deep tissue, myofascial, sports massage, active engagement techniques, hot stone massage, trigger point therapy, Gua Sha (scraping), cupping, prenatal massage, mobility work and assisted stretching. Having been a personal trainer since 1997 as well as a competitive bodybuilder since 1999, Heather's passion involves sports therapy and working with elite athletes in competition preparation processes. Her goal is to help each client to increase mobility, flexibility and soft tissue recovery with each session.

Great massage! Very professional. Loved everything about the massage. If I had to pick one negative it is something I know is beyond Heathers control was that I could hear what sounded like a door slamming in the room next door.

It was my first "real" massage. Heather made me feel comfortable and at ease. She was very professional and answered all of my questions. (and there were many)! The massage was a great stress relief for me and felt wonderful. I will definitely be a repeat client and recommend to my friends!
