Erin graduated from the Baltimore School of Massage in 2006. She is originally from the Maryland area, but moved to North Carolina in 2008. She has worked at chiropractic offices and in spas, but what it really comes down to is that she loves helping people out of pain while also helping them to relax. She has a background as a stott pilates instructor which adds to her understanding of how the body works. Her favorite modality to work in is myofascial release. It is a slower work that helps the tissues and fascia to soften and become malleable so that a client can get out of pain and greatly improve their range of motion. This modality, along with swedish and deep tissue was thoroughly covered in her schooling and that, coupled with over 14 years of experience, is what has molded her specific style of massage. It is extremely relaxing and effective to reduce pain. The other modalities in Erin's massage tool box include: swedish, deep tissue, neuromuscular, cupping, medical massage, prenatal massage, hot stone, reflexology, PNF stretching and more to come in the next few months.
