About Erica

I grew up in Southern New Hampshire and came to the Green Mountain State in 2018. I received my B.A. and M.A. at Clark University is Worcester, MA, and upon completion moved out West to California where I spent the next 7 years. My heart called me back to New England, to be close to family, to put roots down, and it was no question that it would be in Vermont.

I am an avid outdoor explorer. I love skiing, hiking, mountain biking, paddling, and rock climbing. I have held many jobs in my life: advocacy work, organizing, bartending, dog walking, organic farming, writer, researcher, bookkeeping, and teaching. I have traveled many places in this country and beyond, I find beauty in the journey.

The one constant in my life has been massage.

When I finally decided to go to Massage Therapy school, about 10 years after owning my first massage table, I wanted to learn a different way to look at bodies and healing. Our bodies are fascinating and do a lot of holding. We store memories in our muscles, bones, fascia, and organs.

I received my certification from Elements of Healing, an Asian bodywork program out of Essex, VT. Through two years of applied learning in this program (nearly 1000 hours of learning) I have a unique understanding of the body through the lens of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). TCM has given me the tools to inform my massage specifically to your needs.

What an experience. Having Erica work on my body was a true gift of self love. She is knowledgeable, caring, and I felt instinctively safe in her hands. Her touch was the perfect level of pressure, sometimes noticeably working my muscles, and other times just lightly rearranging the energy of my body. I loved the variety of techniques she used in our session, and could feel the results of targeted problems quickly. I will be seeing Erica again as often as possible, and I highly recommend the same for literally everyone!
