Prior to taking a tour of my school I wanted nothing more than to have a skill I could quickly obtain and put into practice. When I took the tour in 2009 I felt welcomed, I felt the presence of purpose, I felt at home. Once I started learning the skills and putting them into practice I realized the benefit massage truly provides, not only for the body on my table, but for myself. It was no longer just the muscles or founders names I was struggling to memorize for tests. Nor the hand motions or sequences we were taught to follow. It became my art, my purpose, my passion, and my peace. 


Working for the Massage Envy franchise I looked to the more seasoned therapist to further hone in on my craft. The people on my table previously dealing with years of pain were alleviated of it. Knowing the effects long term pain had on my father, it brought me a lot of joy to know I was genuinely helping my client's quality of life. In turn they were helping mine. 

After almost 10 years with Massage Envy, with the last 2 being a Lead Therapist, I decided to take a chance on myself. There is now no ceiling for my craft. Through continuing education, and my clients, I can consistently learn and improve. I continue to focus on my client's needs as helping them, and hopefully you, provides me comfort that I am in this profession for a reason. I have purpose.
