My name is Ty Guttenberger and I'm just a normal guy like so many other good ones out there.  After a near-20-yr physics/engineering/management career, having raised children, and having treated so many for pain relief and relaxation, I find myself in a place of maturity and self-grounding.  I am fortunate enough to know now that my true calling is to work with individuals and relieve human pain and stress.

I've been blessed to work with recovering cancer champions and their neuropathy, Dowager's humps with elderly clients, inactive psoas muscles causing foot dragging, rotator muscle repair and post-surgical recovery, severe scoliosis, arthritis of many sorts, gradual transformation due to severe weight loss, and standard bone breakages and musculoskeletal realignment issues.  In so many instances I've had beautiful experiences of patients/clients getting off the table and dancing, singing, or tears of joy.  (That's earth shaking stuff for me...)

Additionally, I've been privileged to work extensively with professional athletes, celebrities, top billionaires of the world, field workers, office professionals, and everything in between - most of which all have upper-crossed syndrome.  I'm calibrated.  I'm nurturing.  I'm strong, but only when I need to be.  Above all, however, I'm passionate about helping people through caring touch and massage.

Lastly, I want to share my strong belief in the mind-body connection.  Relaxation is key to all bodywork and I'm an expert at that too.  I offer a blending of authentic Hawaiian Lomilomi massage (mental grounding to the fullest) and basic stress management through Swedish and Deep Tissue massage.  These are not doctor prescribed services and therefore not covered by insurance.  But, they are certainly important parts of caring for yourself.  You can find more on me at http://www.kahunabodyworksofmb.weebly.com
