Hello! My name is Nicole Bandstra. I am a follower of Jesus Christ, a mother of 3, and a body worker. 

My passion for massage started when I was about 10 years old massaging my mom's feet and she told me I could make a career of it! I didn’t know this was even a possibility at the time. She purchased me a video explaining foot reflexology and a pair of socks that showed where the acupressure points on the feet were. I was amazed that massage not only felt good, but has so many health benefits as well. I’ve been hooked on bodywork since then! 

I attended the Iowa College of Natural Health and graduated in 2009. I’ve continued to expand my knowledge with a 500 hour mastery program at the school of Body Wisdom, finishing at the end of 2024. Everyday I strive to learn more about how the body works and how I can help facilitate healing. 

I’ve been a licensed massage therapist for a total of 9 years with a 5 year break when I focused on solely being a mother :)

I opened Vital Massage in 2019, and changed the name to Vital Movement & Massage Therapy in 2025. Being a business owner has become another passion of mine and I look forward to what the future will bring!
