I was first inspired to become a massage therapy when I realized I wanted to have a career that made a difference in the world.  Helping people get out of pain is a pretty big deal. Ask anyone who has been in pain, and they'll tell you if a massage therapist helped them end that pain.  I attended Southeastern School of Neuromuscular and Massage Therapy (Now Southeastern Institute) 2006-2007 at the top of the class.  I received special recognition for highest GPA with straight A's. 

Massage is something I find comes naturally, and being certified in several modalities certainly helps me to better help my clients and patients.  Learning is an unending process, and so, I strive to better my skills, and knowledge of the human body every day.  I specialize in pain management, and Neuromuscular reprogramming. 

I am trained in: Neuromuscular Therapy, Myofascial Release, Reiki Master, Hot Stone, Low Back Pain, Plantar Fasciitis, Swedish Relaxation, and Chair massage. 

My other hobbies, such as running, and hiking allow me to have first hand knowledge of injuries and common maladies to the average runner/hiker.  I am also a mother of twins. So I am always on my toes!  Coming from a background of office desk work, I am also all too familiar with what we in the industry call "seated chair victims".  So, for all of you who sit at a desk all day, and your mid/low back is hurting... I know why, and can help you.

In all, I strive to get to the root cause of the pain rather than chasing symptoms, for a more effective treatment with great results.
