Hello Everyone!

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself and give you a little background about myself. My name is Kelly Kawczynski and after educating our future young leaders for 10+ years, another path had opened for me. I decided to take the journey along that path and ended up at Cortiva Institute-Chicago School of Massage Therapy. I graduated in July 2010. It was one of the best decisions I could have made. The things I learned about the human body were amazing and I was excited to branch off and help educate others on what I had learned. It must be the teacher in me. I am Licensed in Illinois and I am Nationally Certified.

I often do volunteer work for local charities, here in Illinois and in Wisconsin. I have participated as a Massage Therapist for the Chicago Marathon since 2009.

I am certified in Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Hot Stone, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Therapy, Swedish, Sports, Chakra Balancing, Reflexology, Myofascial therapy and TMJ Dysfunction Treatment.  I just became CIBTAC Endorsed, and finished a Spa Start up, Management & Operations course. The certificate encompasses: Spa Business Start up, Financial Management, Spa Marketing, Spa Staffing, Spa Customer service and Spa Business Operations. 

Clinical research demonstrates the value of massage as a means to decrease the symptoms related to a number of conditions including arthritis, fibromyalgia, low back pain, migraines, repetitive stress injuries, and injuries from sports activities and automobile accidents. I am here to help alleviate some of those common muscle aches as well as therapeutically help you ease into a relaxation state.

I have a lot of perks, and believe that massage is a wellness not just a luxury.

Kelly is very good at what she does. I tell her what is bothering me and she makes me feel better. After trying pain injections, physical therapy, acupuncture and a chiropractor I went to Kelly and she fixed my back pain in 1 visit.

Went to the appointment without expecting too much to change and was very surprised the next day how my muscles reacted and I was able to walk much easier scheduled the second appointment headed in the right direction
