In high school, I was injured in a car accident and a chiropractor treating me recommended massage. After experiencing how my mobility increased and the pain decreased, I decided I want to learn how to help others. In 1995, I graduated from massage school with an additional study of reflexology. Since then, I have completed advanced training in whiplash and low back injuries and my continued studies are focused on orthopedic massage & movement. Before starting my own practice in Missoula in 2010, I worked alongside chiropractors, physical therapist and personal trainers assisting others with injury recovery and in achieving their wellness goals. My practice focuses on therapeutic massage therapy for pain management of chronic conditions and injuries in addition to stress reduction and relaxation. The goal is to help you relax, relieve your aches, improve mobility and assist in balancing the body by applying my knowledge of a variety of massage therapy techniques.
I believe part of being healthy is taking time to relax and do something you enjoy. When I am not working with clients, I enjoy furthering my education, spending time with my family, yoga, hiking and snowboarding.
For more information regarding my educational background and approach to massage therapy or if you have questions, simply give me a call at 406-396-1385.
