Paul Skrbec, LMT/NASM-CPT has been practicing massage since 2015 and made the academic Dean's List at Saint Paul College while in the medical massage therapy program. He completed his massage certification in May 2016 to open up his licensed massage therapist (LMT) private-practice out of his North Minneapolis home. He became a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) - Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) in 2017. He is also a certified Holistic Nutrition Coach and previously worked as the Director of Massage Therapy for a busy, award wining franchise spa located in St. Louis Park managing a team of massage 15 therapists. He currently holds a day job in the non-profit sector as a Wellness & Support Coordinator and works with his private-practice clients on weekday evenings and weekends.

He is licensed by the City of Minneapolis, is certified in CPR and First Aid by the American Red Cross, is insured through Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals (ABMP) as a professional member and is certified as a personal trainer by the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).

He received his Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in psychology from Saint John's University in Collegeville, MN. Upon graduating, he pursued his first career in marketing and public relations for two decades before discovering first-hand that stress and lack of attention to a wellness plan works against the body's design. He left his corporate job in to enroll in school and begin a new career in massage, fitness, health, wellness and lifestyle coaching.

An avid distance runner, Paul typically trains for multiple half marathons each year and enjoys the Minnesota outdoors on frequent camping and hiking trips whenever he can. Keeping up with an active lifestyle plays a central role of his philosophy of life and fitness goals. He uses the same approach when working with clients to achieve their goals, too. The biggest factor to successfully living healthy is to figure out what works for you, with the understanding that no two people are the same. He is committed to working with you to build a path forward so that you can reach your goal of living a healthy lifestyle.

One of the best massages I have had in a long time. I highly recommend. I will be going to him monthly

Paul was great in terms of being professional and friendly. He knows what he’s doing massage-wise and the pressure he used was perfect. He took the time to explain what was going to happen during the massage and I appreciated it. It made me feel more at home. He also showed me stretches to do at home. There were a couple of things I did not like. One, the massage was too short, with five minutes on each side of the massage time used for getting undressed and dressed. All other massages I have had were for the full time of the massage: 60 minutes equaled 60 minutes of actual massage time. Second, I purchased the peppermint head massage and it was way too short. The timing of things are my only complaints.

What an amazing experience. First off, such a clean safe studio space. During pandemic times I’ve never felt more safe and taken care of. Paul’s massage was the best I’ve had; firm and catered to my personal needs. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a great massage.

Paul took the time to understand my issues and explained what his plan was and why? That really helped to put me at ease. I will be a return customer!
