Originally from the South Hills of Pittsburgh, PA, I moved to Lakeland, FL in 1998 and studied Massage Therapy at Traviss Technical Institute. This excellent program introduced me to many modalities (styles) of massage and bodywork. I graduated in 2001 and received my Florida license to practice massage in 2002. Upon my return to Pittsburgh I obtained a Pennsylvania Massage Therapy license.

Upon my return to Pittsburgh I obtained a Pennsylvania Massage Therapy license.

My desire to help others and my natural gift of touch set me on a path in massage therapy. I specialize in therapeutic massage and pain relief with extensive knowledge in treatment for sciatica. I am also very skilled in deep tissue massage, Swedish massage, and pre-natal massage. I offer infant massage instruction to parents, Reiki and cranial sacral therapy. I believe everyone should receive massage on a regular basis as a "tune-up" for the body.

This was my first massage and Doug made me feel so comfortable. He explained everything before he started and asked if I was comfortable throughout the experience. I went in with leg and hip pain that would keep me up throughout the night and I have had zero pain since he worked on the area. I enjoyed it so much I booked my appointment immediately. Great work!

First time at the spa. Douglas is an experienced Massage Therapist who will work on your problem areas while still allowing you to relax and enjoy. He knows when to be aggressive and when to back off based off of how I was reacting and how my muscles felt. Felt massage-high which is always a happy little bonus. Haha
