 What seems like a lifetime ago, I trained in Massage Therapy in New York City, and worked in N. New Jersey until relocating to the West Coast.

My practice has been active in Portland since 2001.  After a move to the West Coast and more training in San Diego and Santa Barbara, I migrated to the glorious Pacific NW.  Milwaukie has been my home since 2004, and have been practicing locally since 2000 and continue to hone my skills in therapeutic massage.  I'm a graduate of the Portland Hakomi/M.E...

My practice has been active in Portland since 2001.  After a move to the West Coast and more training in San Diego and Santa Barbara, I migrated to the glorious Pacific NW.  Milwaukie has been my home since 2004, and have been practicing locally since 2000 and continue to hone my skills in therapeutic massage.  I'm a graduate of the Portland Hakomi/M.E.T.A Institute and am certified in this somatic, mindfulness based counseling process.  Since 2008 I've been a facilitator of a energy psychology process called Psych-K, which actively assists creating conscious beliefs to create the life or behavioral changes we most desire.
     I have long been informed by the body-mind spirit continuum, and educate clients to develop a more conscious relationship to the care and tending of their body.  It's my intent to encourage clients to be actively involved in their sessions with breath, curiosity, imagery and awareness.  My goal is to cultivate a deepening capacity of receptivity in sessions, which brings healing to tissues, over stimulated nervous systems and a needed experience of calm. 
   My approach is to resolve pain and chronic restrictions with the variety of techniques I weave in, and to support  greater ease and freedom from pain and aggravation.  Massage Therapy is best as a partnership.  I'd love to help you learn skills for releasing pain, physical and emotional, stress,  and anxiety during your sessions.  
   Sessions are a blend of Myofascial massage, Trigger Point release, nurturing Swedish, and deep tissue modalities as needed,  cupping, Gua Sha, heated stones and essential oils.   
  Beginning the summer of 2020, I have a home studio in Milwaukie, and work 2 days a week in the Sellwood community.  Please contact me with any questions.
