Myofascial Release

I am certified in MFR Which i received at The Ann Arbor Institute of Massage Therapy. The goal of myofascial therapy is to stretch and loosen the fascia so that it and other contiguous structures can move more freely, and the patient's range of motion is restored.

Maria listened to me and also to my body. This was my first time receiving massage therapy from her. I believe that she is a very skilled massage therapist. She also outlined what needs to be worked on in the future which I really appreciated.

Maria takes time every session to listen to what’s causing me pain from week to week, from injury related pain to congenital defects of which I have a few, to my pain management which has improved greatly. If you are worried that a person will be to hard on your body or think “it’s just a massage what good will it really do” until Maria worked on me I would have said “not much” now I can confidently say “it can change your entire body” to being more cooperative, less painful and more peaceful to inhabit. I am thankful there are people who truly care about others like Maria.

Her hands just seem to call those knotted muscles right to them. She would ask if the pressure was too much and I didn’t feel at anytime that it was. I slept so well last night.
