Dr. Bernatz is the founder and director of VAST Chiropractic, Inc and is one of only five chiropractors in Utah certified in Active Release Techniques® (ART).

Dr. Bernatz is originally from Rochester, MN. Shortly after graduating from High School he enlisted in the military, where he spent four years serving in the Air Force as a helicopter crew chief and toured in Iraq.

Nate earned his undergraduate degree in Human Biology and his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Northwestern Health Sciences University. Before completing chiropractic school, Dr. Bernatz interned at Woodwinds Hospital, in Minnesota and completed his externship in Vail, Colorado under the direction of Dr. Joel Dekanich and Dr. Mark Pitcher at Vail Integrative Medical Group.

While in graduate school, Dr. Bernatz routinely provided ART to several companies within Minnesota. In 2013, he also treated countless Ironman athletes in both the Ironman - Madison, WI and Ironman - Louisville, KY.

Currently, Dr. Nate is an ART - Elite Provider and Team chiropractor for Praxis - Olympic Lifting Center.
