"Pain is inevitable, suffering is optional" Kathleen Casey Theisen

What brought me to massage therapy is after being a stay-at-home mom for 7 years I wanted to return to the workforce but didn't want to return to a cubicle. What brought me to massage therapy is after being a stay-at-home mom for 7 years I wanted to return to the workforce but didn't want to return to a cubicle. My close friend suggested, kiddingly, that I become a massage therapist so that I could take care of her back pain. A google search and 7 months of night school later I was, in fact, a licensed massage therapist! And absolutely LOVE my job!

The school I attended and graduated in January 2010 was NMTI (National Massage Therapy Institute) from there I received my certification of Swedish massage. Since graduation I have also become certified in Myofacial Release techniques, Precision Neuromuscular techniques, Facial Release techniques and my latest adventure is Ashiatsu Bar massage (Barefoot massage).

My focus with my massage is targeting the painful areas first and foremost for the most effective pain relief.  I'd rather address the areas that have brought you to my door then just doing a run of the mill full body massage. Through therapeutic massage, client education of muscular health and stress reducing techniques, I give my clients the means for a healthier, happier and more comfortable life.

I look forward to exceeding your expectations!

Jen is one of the best massage practitioners I've every experienced. Her ashiatsu techniques are incredible, and she really knows how to unlock muscle tightness.
