With all of the hustle and stresses of everyday life, it is easy to forget to take the time to take care of ourselves. However, the body does not quietly take our abuse; after a time, the stresses of our mind begin to manifest in our body through aches and pains. I have been a massage therapist since 2008 and a Reiki Master since 2005. Hailing from a small suburb of the Windy City, I have made the Sonoran Desert my home for the last 7+ years. I received my massage training at the New Mexico Academy of Healing Arts in Santa Fe, NM, where I specialized in Medical Massage and injury rehab. I have worked side by side with alternative medicine providers throughout the East Valley and at one of the area's busiest day spas (which I also managed for a time!). I currently run an out-call based massage practice in the Phoenix East Valley.

When I am not busy working on my massage business, I can be found curled up in a comfortable chair with a good book, playing flute in my living room, or playing games with my husband and two little boys.

Day Spa Massage Therapist

From December 2011 to February 2015 I worked as a massage therapist for Hawaiian Experience Spa. Focusing primarily on Therapeutic massage and Lomi Lomi, I received numerous online accolades via Yelp and other online reviews. Toward the end of my tenure, I also began to train other therapists in Lomi Lomi, Hot Stone massage, and spa treatments.

In addition to being a seasoned massage therapist, I have also managed a small day spa. This experience has given me a strong sense of the issues that clients face when looking for consistent treatment from an expert therapist. Formerly Desert Dragonfly Massage. I have been the owner of a small private massage practice since 2009. I have worked alongside numerous other wellness practitioners in the Phoenix area, including those in the fields of acupuncture, chiropractic, nutrition, and physical therapy. I also act as a public speaker and blogger on wellness related topics.

I have been an energy worker and Reiki Master since 2005. My experience in energy work led to to a career in massage therapy. I have a passion for helping others to find balance in their energetic systems.

Extensive Continuing Education

I have taken continuing education in Thai massage, Lomi Lomi massage, advanced Pregnancy massage, Infant massage instruction, spa treatments, among others. I consider myself to be a life-long learner and I am continually working to improve both myself and the practice of my craft.
