I have been practicing massage therapy since 2001.   In December, 2009, I completed a 100 hour certification program in Orthopedic Massage, which is a cutting edge approach to sports massage and injury treatment and prevention.  I am also certified in prenatal massage and I practice Lymph Drainage Therapy and Craniosacral Therapy.  I am also a certified STOTT PILATES instructor.  This is a great addition to the bodywork to help people learn how to move properly.   I have had success in relieving:

  • chronic neck and back pain
  • sports injuries (ie. plantar fascitis, tennis or golfer’s elbow, etc.)
  • repetitive motion injuries (carpal tunnel syndrome, frozen shoulder, etc.)
  • TMJ disorder pain
  • Migraines and tension headaches
  • Discomfort during pregnancy

I am licensed in New Hampshire and Nationally Certified by the National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork  I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Women’s Studies from the University of Massachusetts in 1999 and transitioned from mental health to massage therapy to offer a more holistic approach to physical and emotional well-being.

REVIEWS for my massage services

I left feeling like I'd been on vacation for two weeks. My forearms and shoulders were tight from work and now I feel like melted butter. I've never tried cupping before and it felt so good. Her dynamic cupping in particular was wonderful- the difference between "that feels good" and "oh, I REALLY needed that".

Allyssa is amazing I would not be where I am in my healing process from my surgery if it wasn’t for Allyssa.

I have neck pain from osteoarthritis. The best relief I have been able to find is an orthopedic massage by Allyssa. She is attentive to my concerns and has been very helpful in providing relief. I highly recommend her services.

Allyssa was very friendly and welcoming. As we went along she explained everything to me in a way that made sense which I appreciated. This was my first time getting a lymphatic drainage massage. I left feeling euphoric and light on my feet; I wish I did this years ago! I’ve already booked my next appointment. Thank you, Allyssa.
