When you have something that keeps nudging at you for years, and then you finally figure out what it is! Thats when it all falls into place. I've always wanted to be a body worker but it was not until the kids finished their education that I finally knew it was my time. I only new of one massage school in the area at the time. "Cleveland Institute Of Medical Massage" After 18 months of intense / grueling work I finished. My first thought was I want to hired by the best spa / salon / resort in the area, I applied, and was hired at Mario's International Spa and Resort. I worked at 4 of their locations Akron / Stow / Parma / Medina doing massage and corporate events. I had the chance to hone my skills on many different people and body styles. There were a tremendous amount of sports figures to work on from many different disciplines: Ballet / Boxing / Tennis / Basketball / Baseball / Grappling. It wasn't all sports figures. You had your everyday 8-4, Teachers / Factory Workers / Doctors / Lawyers / Accountants.. Plus a couple local celebrities. Yes, I've had a lot of people on the tables and I'm thankful Mario's hired me right out of school. While at Mario's, I also had some incredible coworkers who trained at different schools. We all shared what we learned from Prenatal Massage / Sports Massage / Deep Tissue.. I studied and I'm certified in Myoskeletal Alignment and Upper Body Specialist thru Freedom From Pain Institute, I'm also working on the last part of that series, Lower Body Specialist.
