My first time to see her was because I couldn't lift my arm. She worked my back, pecs, and shoulder muscles and soft tissue with very specific points and methods to get my shoulder to unlock. When my IT band locked up and made my calf, thigh, knee, and hip hurt, she worked trigger points in my hip as well as my quads and hamstring, but she also used cups and specific motions to stretch the fascia and IT. It hurts. She tries not to make it excruciating, but she isn't afraid to do what it takes to make it ultimately better. And, she talks about random things to distract me from the pain. Today I saw her because my arm and hand soft tissue is really tight. She didn't just work my wrists or elbows. She worked the entire muscle system in my back, pecs, shoulders, arms, and hands. She is great with holistic system work, and to me, that is what makes her exceptional at what she does.

Maren is absolutely the best massage therapist I have ever been to. I have had back and neck issues off and on since a bad accident in the 1990s that required titanium plates in my neck at C6/C7. Recently I have been working from home more and my set up is not very ergonomic which caused a muscle spasm in the middle of my right shoulder blade that radiated up into my head and down my back. I was in so much pain I needed an appointment immediately. She spent 90 minutes (which only seemed like five minutes it felt so good and I was so sad when it was over) working the area. I continued to improve the rest of the day and last night I had the best sleep I have had in a very long time. It is at least 80-90% better than it was yesterday and so much more improved than I have ever experienced after a single session in the past! With so many places to choose from, it's scary to find someone who actually knows what they're doing. Maren has the training and experience and I will be using her again! Hopefully before I let things get so bad.
