Hello,

My name is Christina Howlett, I am a licensed massage therapist and I currently work out of Beauty Secrets SpaSalon by appointments only. Some of you may be wondering why I chose a career in the massage therapy field. When I was a little girl I would work on my family members aches and pains. I found it fun and exciting because I would see the look of my grandma's face after I had finished and then I would hear that sigh of relief and shortly after I would hear "Thank you, I feel much better or wow that felt so good!"

After high school graduation I tried different jobs and career paths but for some reason I just didn't find them appealing. My family would tell me, "Christina you should become a massage therapist, you have the hands for it." After years of searching and trying out different things, I finally decided to listen to the advice of my family and my journey as a future licensed massage therapist began!                                                              

I graduated from South Texas Vo-tech in 2012. Shortly, after receiving my state license and working for a few companies, I decided to go into business for myself, and that is how Christy's Massage Therapy came about.

One of the things I still enjoy about my career is that half asleep look my clients have after the session and it brings me great joy to have a client fall asleep on my table during their session.
