Hi, I’m Ivelisse, licensed massage & bodywork therapist and owner of Wise Body Massage & Bodywork. I’m a graduate from the Western North Carolina School of Massage, where I completed my massage therapy studies and also obtained a certificate in neuromuscular therapy (NMT). An interest in experiential anatomy and movement practices led me to pursue a yoga teaching certification from the Sivananda Yoga Center in the Bahamas in 2015.

Hi, I’m Ivelisse, licensed massage & bodywork therapist and owner of Wise Body Massage & Bodywork. I’m a graduate from the Western North Carolina School of Massage, where I completed my massage therapy studies and also obtained a certificate in neuromuscular therapy (NMT). An interest in experiential anatomy and movement practices led me to pursue a yoga teaching certification from the Sivananda Yoga Center in the Bahamas in 2015.

The focus of my work is always informed by the needs of my client, first and foremost. At the core of what I do is a collaborative effort to invite balance back into the body and to empower my clients with knowledge and self care recommendations.

I incorporate an intuitive blend of neuromuscular therapy, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, yoga informed stretching, and cupping. In my practice I strive to create a space for clients to embody inward focus while maintaining a safe and nurturing environment.
