I didn't find massage therapy, it found me!  I was in the mortgage industry for 10+ years.  In 2007, the beginning of the mortgage crisis, I was laid off without a game plan for the future.  Why would I?  I loved my job and helping people achieve the American Dream.  I was going to spend the rest of my years in mortgages.  Without a job, I had to find another road to the future.  I love helping people, so my thoughts were to become a nurse.  But unfortunately, I don't have the stomach for that!  A friend suggested massage therapy.  Never in a million years would that have crossed my mind!  I found the perfect learning environment at the Gloucester County School of Massage with a director and teacher who believed in me and helped me get back into learning mode. (I had been out of school for 15 years!).  It was a tough time, but worth it!  I had found my niche!  

I went from never receiving a massage to being an advocate and educator of massage therapy and it's benefits.  My favorite modality is geriatric massage.  I love helping people regain mobility and feeling better.  I tell people if I could, I would massage for free;  my payment is the smiles and looks of amazement after a person receives their massage.  But unfortunately, my bills don't accept payment in form of massages!
