Welcome friends,
My name is Rachel Cain, (formerly Rachel Ostrowski), and I started my massage journey almost 10 years ago at Columbus State Community College. While in school, I got a taste of what it means to help restore people to function, freedom, and overall health. My first real massage job came in the form of a popular spa chain in Dublin before making my transition into a chiropractic setting. I served the Westerville Community for over two years in that setting before returning to a spa environment in Gahanna. Like many other business in 2020, I was forced to make the difficult decision to close my doors during the Pandemic. Fast forward to 2024 and I have been blessed with the chance at a new start. I will be seeing patients in 2 locations, Bliss Oasis Retreat inside Holistic Health on Mondays, Fridays, and every Other Saturday, and at Ohio Neck and Back Pain Relief Center in Marion on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
If you are experiencing issues with the following, please come see me:

Massage Therapy
Trigger point massage is a massage technique that targets specific painful spots, or "trigger points," within muscles to alleviate pain and tension. These trigger points can cause pain that radiates to other parts of the body, and massage helps to release the muscle spasms and restore normal function. I have been actively doing Trigger Point Therapy for the last 10 years and received certification in this modality in 2015.
Ashiatsu massage is a barefoot massage technique where the therapist uses their feet to apply deep pressure and strokes to the client's body. This method allows for a deeper level of pressure than is possible with hands alone, helping to release tension and reduce chronic pain. I am certified in this modality and will soon have setups in both my Powell and Marion locations.
I am certified in Cupping through the Cupping Canada Program. Cupping is a traditional therapy that involves creating suction on the skin using cups, usually made of glass, silicone or plastic. The cups are placed on the skin, and suction is created by either applying heat to remove air or by using a suction device. This suction pulls the skin and underlying tissues into the cup, which is stimulates blood flow and help with various conditions including: pain relief, muscle soreness, stress reduction, and promoting overall well-being.
I am experienced with all three stone based modalities but currently am only offering Hot Stone. A hot stone massage is a therapeutic technique where heated basalt stones are used to relax muscles, increase blood flow, and promote relaxation. The stones retain heat well. Stone are placed on specific points along the body, like acupressure points, and stones are used to massage muscles. I have been certified in this technique for 10 years.
I have been certified in this modality since 2015, and am experienced in working with cancer patients and those post cancer treatment. Oncology massage is a specialized form of massage therapy tailored for individuals with cancer, providing safe and gentle touch to manage symptoms and improve quality of life. It involves modifications to standard massage techniques to accommodate the unique needs and potential complications associated with cancer and its treatments.
I have been certified in this modality since 2015. Prenatal massage is a specialized massage therapy tailored for pregnant women, designed to alleviate common pregnancy-related discomforts and promote relaxation. It involves gentle, targeted techniques to reduce muscle tension, improve circulation, and relieve pain in areas like the lower back, hips, and legs. The massage is typically performed in a side-lying position, and I have a special pregnancy pillow for optimal comfort while expecting.
