Rebecca is a graduate of the National Academy of Massage Therapy and Healing Sciences (NAMTHS currently at Landsdale School of Business in North Wales, PA) where she completed 600 hours of training. She has a B.S. in Agronomy and Environmental Science from Delaware Valley University, in Doylestown, PA, and was the top scorer for the women’s cross country team. After working five years as an environmental scientist, she returned as an assistant cross country coach at DVU and went on to study Massage Therapy at NAMTHS in Landsdale, PA. Upon graduating NAMTHS, she was awarded the President’s Award or outstanding academic achievement, Highest of Honors for Academic Excellence in the study of Massage as well as Anatomy & Physiology. Rebecca also served as a Clinic Supervisor, Weekend Class Massage Instructor, and Canine Massage Class Instructor at NAMTHS.
Her training includes Swedish, Deep Tissue, Prenatal, Hot Stones, Medical, and Sports Massage as well as Myofascial Release and Trigger Point techniques. Additionally, Rebecca is a Equine and Canine Massage Therapist (Round Hill, VA). With her background as an athlete and scientist, she understands the importance of maintaining the musculoskeletal system. Rebecca is a Virginia Licensed Massage Therapist and Board Certified Massage Therapist (NCTMB) and has over 15 years of experience. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, trail running with her dog, organic gardening, and reading.
