VANESSA DEARING’S MASSAGE THERAPIST BIO
Vanessa Dearing is nationally-certified by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) and is a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) in Florida, Virginia, and Georgia since May 2007. Vanessa received her education and training at the VCI College in Richmond, VA and has been involved in healing arts for more than 8 years. Vanessa has worked with Massage Envy Spa’s for 6 of those 8 years. Vanessa has also worked in Baku Medical Center in Hollywood, FL where she managed and provided rehabilitation services / massage for clients that were in car accidents, slip and falls and workman’s compensation since 2007. Vanessa also has worked on pre and post-surgery patients with orthopedic injuries and issues under the care of Dr. Kevin J Wood, DC.
She has specific training and experience in multiple therapeutic modalities including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports, Rehabilitation, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point, and Reflexology and her own unique application of Hot Stone massage. Vanessa is certified in Integrative Reflexology, Prenatal massage, Post-natal massage, Infant, and Preconception massage. She has specific training in Unlocking Computer Shoulder Techniques, included as part of her continuing education hours and certification requirement, Vanessa has attended additional workshops on a variety of pertinent subjects, including Professional Ethics.
