First, let me start by saying thank you..Thank you for your interest in my business and the services I have to offer. I am a 2005 graduate from Somerset School of Massage Therapy now known as Cortiva in Wall Township NJ. Let me tell you a little bit of how I became a Massage Therapist. I always loved Massage Therapy and how it made me feel. But in 2004 I went through some major life changes as well as hearing some devastating news about my Mother's Health. I was at a crossroads. trying to decide which path to choose for my life and how I imagined it to be,  moving forward. My Mother was diagnosed with Breast cancer. After her surgery, while in recovery she complained about a severe headache. I knew it was a combination of what she just went through as well as stress.There was a  sign posted on the wall in hallway near her room,  that they offered massage therapy at the hospital, so I made the call. Within the hour a therapist came to see my mother. Knowing she couldn't do a full body massage, My family and I were just looking to relieve the pain she was experiencing and reduce her stress. The Therapist gave my mother a light scalp massage as well as massage on her feet. I could see the pain diminish from her face, and I knew right then and there, THIS was for me. If I could provide what this therapist provided for my Mother, to others, I would lead a happy life. I have found my purpose. I am happy to report that My Mother is now Cancer free. As far as the other life changes, massage therapy also provided me with the sense of peace, going forward that no matter what is thrown at me (figuratively speaking) I can withstand anything. The word BELIEVE has been my driving force. After Graduating in 2005 I started offering chair massage at LoParo family Chiropractic in Waretown NJ  and I continue to be affiliated with this business today on an on-call basis.. I also worked in some of the best Casino Spas on the east Coast in Atlantic City NJ,  such as Spa Toccare at Borgata and Bask by exhale at Revel Resort until it's closing in 2014. I cultivated my craft and learned the art of "pampering the client". Since then,  I have worked locally in a small franchise spa which allowed me to be close to home. I have learned many modalities along my journey as a massage therapist and I continue to do so. However,  my main focus is the type of Massage therapy that uses all of your senses on your path to overall well being. "Relax the mind and the body will follow". My goal is to provide a relaxing environment  that  results in lowered  stress levels and provide relief to aching, sore, tight muscles caused by tension. Every person I work on is unique and my techniques may change with each session, depending on individual needs. I strive for consistency.
