Greetings!
My interest in bodywork began about twenty years ago when fell in love with yoga, and then in 2012 I began a deeper journey into Eastern medicine and therapeutic mindbody methods to understand and recover from a health crisis.
I hold a graduate degree in art psychotherapy, am certified as an Integral Bodywork® Practitioner (a structural integration method heavily based on Zen Buddhism, Rolfing, and Feldenkrais theory and techniques), and a TRE® (Trauma & Tension Release Exercises) Practitioner (a method for resetting the nervous system and releasing patterns associated with chronic stress and/or trauma).
In 2017 I graduated from East-West Healing Arts Institute in Madison where I specialized in Asian bodywork (TuiNa, Thai massage, dry/fire cupping, guasha, acupressure) and Western therapeutic massage (Deep Tissue, Neuromuscular, Myofascial Release). Post graduation I worked in Dr. Zhou's Acupuncture Clinic in Madison to treat people with chronic pain and various other medical conditions.
At D-Chai I enthusiastically offer massages that integrate Eastern and Western methods to help relax the nervous system, open energetic blockages, release adhesions, and reinvigorate tissue. I’m currently advancing my training in Thai massage techniques, and am happy to offer sessions in Chinese Medical Massage, Deep Tissue, Swedish, guasha, or cupping. I look forward to meeting you!
