A little about me: I have my bachelor's degree from Northern Michigan University in Sport Science, once I finished with my degree I continued my education by attending massage therapy school at Ann Arbor Institute for Massage Therapy.  I am now a licensed massage therapist and am certified in myofascial release.  I am also trained in; neuro muscular therapy, sports massage, thai massage and other modalities.
I am an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys mountain biking, rock climbing, hiking, kayaking, camping, and riding my motorcycle (not necessarily in that order).  I believe that being active and living healthy play a large role in the happiness we experience in life.  I encourage everyone to do what you love and love what you do!
Why I do what I do:  I became interested in massage therapy so that I could help people. Massage is a great source of pain and stress relief and that is my goal as a therapist. I want you to come see me and leave feeling better.
It is important to be proactive in your own health. The best way to do that is to do everything you can to stay healthy; being active and eating healthy are a great place to start! My role as a massage therapist is to keep you doing what you love, so book an appointment! - See more at: https://www.massagebook.com/profiles/view/731346/1?preview=1#about/description-show

REVIEWS for my Bodywork services

This was my first massage with Erika, and I was very, very happy with my experience! I have been struggling with neck, jaw and shoulder pain for ages, and felt immediate relief to some of my regular symptoms following my first session. She is extremely knowledgeable, took the time to get to know me and my specific points of concern/interest, and was focused on making sure that I was comfortable and getting what I needed out of the session; I will certainly be coming back in the future!

Erika was very welcoming and really listened to my concerns at my first appointment. She then tailored the active isolated stretching to address my SI joint pain. I decided to book a massage with her for my next session! :)

Erika is great, she always addresses the issues we talk about at the beginning of the session as well as reacting on the fly to any new problem areas that surface during the massage.
