I have wanted to be a massage therapist since I was 10. I don't really know why, but it was a calling for me. I haves always loved to do things with my hands, I drew art regularly and love to cook. My first career was in the restaurant business. I couldn't get massage out of my head and one day enrolled at The Academy of Healing Arts in Macon, Ga. and quit my job. I approach massage therapy differently from most. I look at the whole body and dissect the problems/concerns both together and separately to help achieve homeostasis. I worked with a Chiropractor for 5 years and trained extensively on injuries and rehabilitation. I also worked 5 years with Hospice patients. This experience has given great relief to clients with Alzheimer's/Dementia, Parkinson's, COPD, cancer, and rehabilitative therapy for injuries, strokes and surgery.
