Massage therapy has been my profession since 1987. I worked on my own for many years while raising my two amazing children who are now successful adults. I also have a delightful five year old grandson and a beautiful, brilliant daughter in law.
While living in northern Idaho, I worked at the Coeur d'Alene Resort and studied in an Earth Medicine Mystery School for three years while enjoying the pristine forests, rivers, and snow. When I returned to Arizona, I worked at the Waldorf Astoria Phoenix Biltmore for seven years and Massage Envy for fourteen years. At Massage Envy I had many clients that I worked on consistently for 10 years or longer. In 2005, I received a Mind Body Wellness Practitioner Certification from the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts. This included a Certification in Nutrition, a 200hr Yoga Teacher Certification, and classes in Chi Gung, Cranial Unwinding, Polarity, and Advanced Pregnancy massage. I also became Certified as a Matrix Energetics practitioner in 2007.
Growing up in Scottsdale, Arizona I loved riding ponies bareback and free in the sun among the desert plants and animals. Currently, I live in the Mesa close to the Salt River Wild Horses. I am an advocate and a voice for the healing and restoration for all Nature and her ecosystems and for our beautiful Mother Earth who sustains us.
In my massages I bring a therapeutic touch to the areas of pain or imbalance in your body and I am committed to finding out what your needs are and providing that. I stand for you living a pain free life and I will provide tips and tools to help you stabilize your healing.

I came to Kari with a painful arm and just feeling off. All while on a business trip. I did my research and found her on line, looking through a list of professionals. Her writeup spoke to me in that she listens and then finds where the problems are to tend to them. I was having a hard time figuring out exactly what was wrong and she found it. I got all the knots taken care of and fell asleep. Highly recommend. Thank you Kari!
