Our bodies know how to heal naturally, but when injury is present, sometimes the body could use a little help and that's where I come in! I became a massage therapist to help people heal after injury and surgery.
After experiencing two c-sections, I lived with chronic pain for five years, and within those five years I found that the only thing that took my pain away was massage. Eventually, I found myself thinking about what techniques I would use, or wouldn't use, while receiving massage from different therapists. I was hooked on the healing power of massage therapy and I had to learn more!
February 2015, I found myself at my first day at Discoverypoint School of Massage in Seattle, WA. It was there that I learned all about the fascial and lymphatic systems and how they contribute to pain.
In my personal life, I am a wife and a mom of two young children. My son is on the autism spectrum, so I understand the added difficulty that comes to life when raising a non-typical developing child, and how that stress effects the body. When I'm not working I like to spend as much time as I can with my children and husband. I love music and enjoy being in nature!
