Rich has been practicing therapeutic massage since 2009. He taught Anatomy & Physiology and Deep Tissue Massage at the Shenandoah Valley School of Therapeutic Massage in Edinburg, VA and is now the lead massage therapist and spa manager at The Mimslyn Inn Hotel in Luray, VA.
Rich has been studying and practicing various forms of energy healing since 2012, and carries Certification in Integrative Energetic Medicine from The White Winds Institute in Winchester, VA.

Rich really listened to my needs and did an excellent job of explaining why I was having pain in my right shoulder. He took the time to tell me about the pressure points that would alleviate my pain. At the end of my session, my shoulder pain was completely gone. Rich has been given a gift and uses it to bless his clients by helping them feel relaxed and restored. I would recommend RPS Massage and Healing to anyone. I will definitely be a repeat customer!

Richard was brilliant in explaining everything he was doing and why. I felt so incredibly relaxed in such a short amount of time, I wish I had booked a longer session! Will definitely be coming back to him in the future.

A surprise gift from my husband led us to Rich. What a GREAT experience! Extremely professional and he did an amazing job with working out some of my soreness. We got to chatting about life’s purpose and not only is he an excellent massage therapist, he is a good soul and I’m so grateful our paths crossed!

Richard patiently explained his techniques, including illustrations that helped me envision the muscles and their functions. After 30 minutes of gentle pressure he relieved a seven month ache in my shoulder. It is now next day and I am still benefitting from his expertise. Thank you, Richard.

Impressively helpful and unique experience. Rich is very knowledgeable and skillful. I visited while on vacation. If I lived closer than 4 hours, I would make regular appointments.
