Rita Danis has been practicing bodywork for more than 8 years. She began her studies with Watsu, taking courses in Hungary, India, in Austria. Afterwards, she decided to deepen her training by undergoing a rigorous 3 year study of Zen Shiatsu, a technique of Japanese tradition. In the meantime she apprenticed under the tutelage of Doctor of Oriental Medicine, Laszlo Nemeth, in a year-long study of Chinese medicine to better understand the patterns and flows in the body.
Currently, she is volunteering and working alongside Mateo Bernal, Doctor of Oriental Medicine. She has attained her Massage Therapy degree, national certification, and Kentucky state licensure as a massage therapist in Kentucky. She challenges herself to actively keep learning and currently offers a variety of techniques tailored to meet each individual's needs.
She believed each patient a unique whole, and her task is to find the way to show the body where to keep working and support the system to balance itself without any force but focus.
