The body is like a fine-tuned automobile. My job is to keep it working optimally.

After decades in the for-profit and not-for-profit business sectors, I decided it was time to go into business for myself, in a career that would be rewarding and help others in a more tangible way. Based on feedback from many of my 300+ clients, I have found my calling.

I graduated in June 2018 from the highly-regarded Louisville School of Massage, and passed my licensing exam in the same month, and opened The Body Mechanic of Louisville immediately thereafter. I introduced my own Kentucky Proud CBD products in April 2021.

\Through my massage therapy studies, I have come to realize just how fine-tuned the body is - like a high-end sports car - and if one thing goes out of alignment, or starts to work improperly, then the whole system suffers. There are many benefits of massage, and many modalities at my disposal to help you maintain your optimum performance. Come see what makes my practice so different and unique!

REVIEWS for my Bodywork services

This is a massage like no other. This man takes the time to review your intake form with you and asks very pertinent questions about your massage experiences, health concerns, and his technique. You are certainly aware of how he approaches his work and his work is done very professionally! I felt great when I left and for a few days following the massage.

Michael was different than any other massage therapist I’ve ever had. He did a musculoskeletal evaluation to really pinpoint where my problem areas were and where they stemmed from. I left there feeling more flexible and balanced. Thank you, Michael.

Michael has a gift of finding trigger points that are causing pain. Very professional and knowledgeable.

I have had alot of massages in my day and I have never experienced the therapy and restoration that I receive at Michael's hands. I had a 2-hour massage and it went by in a blink. He is extremely gifted.

Michael is amazing and really feels what your body needs. He has amazingly strong hands and a lot of extras that help enhance the experience! My favorite is all of the hot bags he uses before or after working on a specific area.

Transformational experience. Not anything like a "regular massage". True body work not the usual "Push me/ Pull me".
