Jooj is a neuromuscular therapist dedicated to helping clients find lasting relief from chronic pain and movement restrictions. With over 17 years of experience in therapeutic bodywork, she specializes in identifying and addressing the root causes of muscular pain rather than simply treating symptoms.
After completing her initial massage therapy training in Germany, Jooj continued her education in Ayurveda and graduated in 2009 as an Ayurveda wellness practitioner. She later moved to the United States and completed her education at Advanced Massage Therapeutics to obtain her American massage therapy license.
She combines a detailed assessment of posture, movement, and pain patterns with targeted neuromuscular techniques such as trigger point therapy, myofascial release acupressure, cupping, and gua sha, along with guided stretching and active therapeutic work that engages the client throughout the session. Her work focuses on restoring mobility, improving biomechanics, and helping the body return to balanced function.
In addition to her neuromuscular training, Jooj has a background in Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupressure. While her practice is rooted in neuromuscular therapy, this broader training informs how she understands the body—not as isolated parts, but as an interconnected system influenced by lifestyle, nutrition, and emotional patterns.
Jooj’s approach is both analytical and intuitive. She believes effective treatment begins with listening—to the client’s history, to how the body moves, and to how tissues respond during treatment. She looks beyond the immediate area of pain to understand the full picture of what may be contributing to it. This careful process allows her to work precisely and intentionally, addressing areas of dysfunction that contribute to chronic pain and recurring injuries.
Her sessions are results-driven and collaborative. By combining focused therapy with clear communication and education, Jooj helps clients better understand their bodies and supports them in achieving long-term relief, improved movement, and greater overall well-being.
For Jooj, this work is more than a profession—it is a commitment to helping people move with less pain and live with greater freedom and vitality.
