I've been practicing massage/manual therapy since 2010. I am a certified massage therapist and received my education from the Academy of Somatic Healing Arts in Georgia. For the first decade of my career, I studied and worked with other health professionals in integrative medicine including physical therapists, acupuncturists, kinesiologists, and Rolfers.
In my practice, I do myofascial release, neuromuscular therapy, sports massage, IASTM (instrument assisted soft-tissue mobilization), cupping, and PNF, or proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation. My bodywork helps people get pain free. I particularly enjoy working with people who have something specific they need help with (for example, a rotator cuff injury or nerve pain), but I also enjoy working with folks who needs a maintenance massage every month.
I have a Bachelor’s of science degree in Community Health Education from California State University Long Beach. In my spare time, I am a CASA, a court-appointed special advocate for children in the welfare system of Los Angeles, and I love hiking, surfing, and camping.
