Christina Wilson grew up in the Pacific Northwest, on a small Island in the San Juans. It was here that she learned the importance of community, and how community can be more like family. This way of living set Christina on the path of service and the journey of healing. In 2008 Christina began the journey within to try and understand her place and purpose in life through energy work and plant medicine. Drawn to the subtleties, she found a Reiki Master which helped her to become level III certified. Christina felt that people had the ability within themselves to bring abundance and joy into their lives, by simply taking a moment of rest with gratitude. By holding this space for people, Christina knew that the healing arts was the direction that made her heart and soul feel complete. This led her to work with an Acupuncturist, who continued to inspire her with the profound science of Tradition Chinese Medicine.
Christina also spent many years in the fine dining industry, where she was able to explore the culinary world. She worked from the ground up and was creating beautiful dishes from locally sourced Farms. She had the good fortune to build relationships with the Farmers who produced the Vegetables for the Restaurant. She was even given the opportunity to live on one of the Farms to help sow and grow the very food she would use to create dishes for locals and guests of the island. The symbiotic relationship between farmer and restaurants was humbling and endearing. Food is medicine and is still a great joy of Christina’s.
However, this was not the final calling, which led her to pack up all of her belongings and leave home alone for the very first time. With just her camping gear and Malamute Kaeda, they took to the open road with no destination in mind. Using an Atlas they traveled to many beautiful nations parks, going down back roads to camp near rivers and almost forgotten havens, meeting many wonderful people along the way, she felt the sense of getting in touch with herself and humanity within the deep and vast expanse of nature. This was the journey that brought Christina to the beautiful State of Colorado, where she has spent the last five years. She now lives with her partner in Berthoud, where they own a 30 acre Ranch. She was given the opportunity to go back to school to rediscover her passions. Christina attended the Berkana Institute of Massage Therapy, where she was once again able to take the path of Healing arts and science. Immersed with Anatomy and Physiology, Christina has renewed her inspiration for the bodies innate ability to bring healing to itself, and is honored to hold the space with her clients as a Licensed Massage Therapist. It is her honor to be of Service to those of Longmont and Neighboring Areas. Christina has been blessed with an amazing community of therapists, where she can continue to deepen her education and bring to her clients the best modalities for health and rejuvenation.
In addition to Massage Therapy, Christina enjoys getting out in nature as much as possible with her dogs. Paddle boarding, swimming, and horseback riding are some of her many hobbies. During the winter, you can usually find her in a good book and making some delicious soup!
