Amanda Grover is a Licensed Massage Therapist and a member of the ABMP massage association. She has been studying the art of massage and healing work since 1999. Amanda’s mission is to aid in the opening and fluidity of the healing pathways in the body and to help reconnect each person's awareness in the physical body to the emotional, mental and spiritual bodies. She works with the 5 element theory, helping her clients gain understanding of this Ancient Chinese system of how the organs work together to maintain physical health and emotional harmony in the body. Her goal is to empower each patient to open to the awareness of their own innate ability to heal naturally and how through that they can reach the fullest expression of their true self, reaching their highest destiny. Her education includes a Bachelor of Arts Degree with a focus on Dance and Movement studies from Naropa University, Roots in herbalism and nutrition studies through the California School of herbal Studies; Swedish Massage, Cranial Sacral Therapy, Thai Massage, Shiatsu barefoot Japanese massage and Chinese 5 Element Theory Studies through Heartwood Institute and Harbin Hot springs School of Massage, before the year 2002. In addition to her previous education and long standing healing practice in California, in March of 2017 she completed a 625 hour program of courses from the Boulder College of Massage therapy to receive her Licensure in Colorado. After completing this course of study she returned to her studies in healing work and completed her advanced studies in Myofascial work, Principles of Structural Integration, Sports massage, Oncology massage, Cranio-Sacral therapy, and Asian Energetics. Each session is focused on listening to and supporting the physical, emotional, and spiritual requests of her clients. She pulls from her wealth of training to customize each session for the balancing and healing of each individual, so that the work she does will have a profoundly uplifting and lasting effect. In addition to her studies in body work, Over the past 10 years, Amanda has developed an herbal infused and essential oil skin and body care line of products to aid in the self-care rituals of her clients, her family and to deepen her focus on health education and preventative medicine. Injoy Botanicals is the medicinal lotion and oil company that she has developed to support the process of self healing. The company promotes the cultivation, formulation and uses of organic medicinal herbs, essential oils, native plants and nutrition for individual, community and global education and wellness.
